Are you interested in a job abroad? You probably have some questions – here we have compiled the most important questions and answers. We are aware that this is not exhaustive and therefore we are happy to advise you personally.

You simply apply with a current CV on our website under jobs abroad or you send us an email with your CV to anaiis@fernweh-jobs.ch. Once we have received and reviewed your application, you will have the opportunity to book an appointment with our recruiters via an online link. Here we will clarify your questions regarding the position. If your profile fits, we will put you in contact with your new employer.

Our job offers are updated almost daily. So don’t be afraid to send us your application. Together we will look for an alternative. You can also sign up for our newsletter so that you don’t miss any offers.

Every employee is entitled to vacation. However, the number of vacation days varies from country to country. Our recruiters will be happy to advise you.

That depends on the employer. In general, your motivation is most important to us. For bureaucratic reasons, however, we require an EU passport or one from Switzerland. This can be for example the registration in the destination country. Furthermore, you should have English skills. Sometimes Fernweh-Jobs offers jobs where no English knowledge is required.

We advise you to apply 1-3 months before the start date, but it is up to you.
Theoretically, our team can offer you start dates for next week on Monday.

There are no costs for you. Our consultation is free of charge.

You are allowed to work for our employees from the age of 18, of course this is due to the law. However, there is no maximum age. You are never too old to start an adventure.

In most jobs, bringing your pet with you comes with some complications. This is because you may have to share the apartment with other roommates. However, it is not impossible. Our recruiters will be happy to advise you on this topic.

If you cannot let go your apartment for various reasons, we recommend subletting. Generally, we advise you not to continue financing your apartment in your home country in order to keep the costs lower.

Again, it depends on the employer. Our jobs often offer a worry-free relocation package. This can be a hotel, a studio, or a shared apartment. You can find more information about this in the job ads.
